WE SHARE OUR ADVENTURES
We have managed to create a real community while sharing our adventures on social networks. Thanks to the pictures we take and share during our expedition, we want to make you live the adventure while expressing honestly the (mis)adventures that happen to us. Our awareness projects, our crossings, our life on board … everything is described openly. Let you escape with us!
During our 27-month expedition, we sailed over 16,243 nautical miles around the Atlantic Ocean while collecting 56 samples of microplastic for the association OceanEye and organized numerous conferences/workshops to raise awareness.
To make you live the adventure through our images, we have created two films retracing the project from the purchase of our sailboat in May 2019 to the end of the expedition in October 2023.
A movie of our first 15 months entirely directed by Aline
With more than 700GB of videos taken during our first 15 months of expedition, we decided to create a one-hour film retracing the project from the purchase of our sailboat to the end of the first chapter of the expedition in October 2021. This was the first time we made a full-length film all by our own and the feedback from our premiere confirmed that our film is a success! We already showed our film in Belgium and Québec to more than 300 people.
Escape, adventure, sun, storm and breathtaking landscapes are guaranteed during 57min 😉
The 6 last months of our expedition
The second film, “Retour par le Nord”, will bring you more thrills and unique landscapes, with the crazy challenge we set ourselves for the 2nd chapter of the expedition: crossing the ocean again from Canada to Belgium, passing through Greenland, Iceland and the Faroe Islands – all on our little 10m sailboat! This northern route allowed us to collect unique samples of microplastic, while taking on the challenge of sailing in these difficult waters! Experience the crazy adventures we had in these high latitudes with this 50min film. We’re proud to have won the “Prix du Public” with this film at the Into The Blue 2022 Festival. Our goal is now to present it in more adventure film festivals!
